Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Fiyr, Inc. (“Fiyr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, AI receptionist features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Who we are
Fiyr provides appointment scheduling, customer management, point-of-sale (“POS”), and optional AI receptionist capabilities for service businesses (e.g., salons, spas, barbers, clinics, and similar providers).

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, business name, password or authentication credentials, and profile settings.
- Business data: services, staff schedules, pricing, tax and receipt settings, labels, memberships, gift cards, and discounts you configure in the app.
- Customer data: information about your clients that you enter or import (e.g., contact details, appointment history, notes, preferences, and reminders).
- Booking and communications: appointment details, messages, and content you or your customers submit through booking links, SMS, or the AI receptionist.
- Payment data: transaction amounts, tips, receipt preferences, and payment-terminal metadata. Card numbers are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Support and marketing: information you send when you contact support, request a demo, or subscribe to updates.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, crash logs, and how you interact with the Services.
- Local storage: the mobile app may store data locally (including via on-device databases) and sync when online.
- Cookies and similar technologies: on our website, as described in our Cookie Policy.
2.3 AI receptionist data
If you enable the AI receptionist, we and our subprocessors may process:
- call audio, transcripts, and SMS content needed to answer inquiries and book appointments;
- caller phone numbers and names provided during a conversation;
- availability and booking outcomes linked to your calendar.
You are responsible for providing appropriate notice to your customers and obtaining any consent required by law before routing calls or messages through the AI receptionist.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- authenticate users and secure accounts (including optional PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID on supported devices);
- sync data across your devices and team members;
- process subscriptions, payments, and receipts;
- operate the AI receptionist using your business configuration (hours, services, FAQs);
- send service-related notifications (e.g., appointment reminders, security alerts);
- analyze usage to fix bugs and develop features;
- comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect rights and safety;
- send marketing communications where permitted and with your consent where required.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable, we rely on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., security, product improvement); consent (e.g., certain marketing or cookies); and legal obligation.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host infrastructure, authenticate users, process payments, deliver SMS/voice, run AI models, send push notifications, and provide analytics—bound by contractual obligations.
- Your team according to roles and permissions you set in the app.
- Integrations you enable (e.g., payment terminals or printers).
- Legal and safety when required by law or to protect users and the public.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.
Examples of categories of providers include cloud hosting, identity providers (e.g., email and social sign-in), payment processors, and telecommunications/AI vendors for the receptionist feature.
6. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent. You can also:
- update account settings in the app;
- opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link;
- manage push notifications in device settings;
- contact us at privacy@fiyr.app.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe we have done so inadvertently.
10. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures described in our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Third-party links
Our Services may link to third-party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice (e.g., in-app or by email).
